It has been a tad quiet without you. Much like Wylie Coyote must miss the Road Runner when it’s on vacation:)

he thinks kids should be adopted to the traditonal 2 parent family. That two gay men aren’t equated with a traditional 2 parent family means he’s against gay adoption. 2 gay men could be 2 parents and are by much of the country’s standards, but not for McCain. He’s on the wrong side of the trend. That he’d condemn parentless children to a life in foster care, when there are plenty of gay couples that want to adopt. . . heartwarming.

I think all politicians should be put on a ship and sunk. I’m just choosing the Democrats as the lesser of 2 evils. That they can’t even uphold the Constitution doesn’t give me much hope, but a Democratic administration hasn’t been gleefully trampling my civil liberties.

Anyway, listen, the answer that McCain gave here is very political to say the least. At no point in time did he say he was against gay marriage or even equate a “2 parent family” to being a heterosexual relationship. Is this wrong? well it wasn’t a straight answer from the “Straight Talk Express” but really Andrea, what politician tackles questions head on anymore. He answered it in the most general way possible, leaving all of us wondering if in fact we could swing “2 parent families” into also being that of GLBT families.

Also, while I was out of the country watching CNN International, it was interesting to see that other countries frown upon our democrats pretty obviously in their news and are outright funny about it. One of the newscasters talked about a crappy bill or something and then said under her breath “guess you can thank the democrats for that one”. Just thought you might find that interesting. But when it comes to news stations I have become even more fierce since our honeymoon after completing the book “Lone Survivor”, I want to write about a lot of things mentioned in there dealing with news stations….way off topic…good to be back

I think the media is painting this election as a lot closer that it actually is. I believe it will go Obama at this point. I don’t think McCain can get enough of the female or minority vote to win.

Found you through the 20sb feeds. A really interesting look at American politics… I can’t pretend to know that much about it. Partly because I’m the UK and it’s not covered in that much detail here (unless of course, you’re Barack Obama in which case your every move is documented!) and partly because I figure we have enough to worry about with our own leaders.

I really don’t know. My heart says that Barack Obama would have a good stab at things but my head tells me that the American people will probably end up with McCain. When do you guys actually vote?
