Why I'm hot

Elysa at GenPink recently encouraged her readers to post why they’re fantabulous/hot because successful branding starts with you thinking you’re great before you can convince others of the same.

Last weekend, someone informed me that in the year that she’s known me, I have not once had a kind thing to say about myself. It was a harsh and much needed reality check.

So here’s the 411 on why I’m hot.

• I’m super resourceful. When I saw Michael Clayton with friends, we agreed that I could do the junior version of Clayton’s job.  I’m a problem-solving and trouble shooting pro.
• I’m very independent and exceptionally low maintenance.
• I have an Absolutely wicked sense of humor, if you appreciate dry and often sardonic wit.
• Dogs adore me — and we all know dogs are good judges of character
• I’m a straight shooter — no sugar coating here.
• I’m always learning something new, whether book reading or the hands on variety.
• With all the learning and the fixing, I’m 150% committed to leaving the world a better place than when I got here.
• I’m the chick who can get the job done, and I’m not particularly concerned about any time in the limelight, as long as the people who matter know what’s up.
• When I write, I find my voice, and I’m not afraid to use it.
• Sweaty endorphins at the gym, leaving a puddle behind in spin class. . . are way more satisfying to me than dressing to the nines.
