    You have a beautiful voice!

Lady in the above video is not me. You might want to leave a comment beneath her video over at YouTube, as I’m sure she’d appreciate the sentiment :)

I am deeply saddened that so many Americans feel that they can vote for a man who supports this.

    Curly,
Obama is pro-choice; no one is pro-abortion. Contraceptives need to be affordable and accessible to all women. And teens need comprehensive sex ed that teaches that how to protect themselves, not just moral bloviating about pre-marital sex.

I don’t understand how someone who is pro-life/pro-birth can work so hard to elect candidates that vote against policies that care for children. The Children’s Defense Fund has evaluated the voting records of each candidate on issues relevant to the well being of children.

“Senator Obama’s cumulative score over three years is 87 percent; Senator Biden’s since 1981 is 85 percent; and Senator McCain’s since 1983 is 28 percent. The scores for the candidates on the 2005 Scorecard were: Obama, 100 percent; Biden, 89 percent; and McCain, 22 percent. In 2006, it was Obama and Biden each with scores of 100 percent while McCain’s score was 10 percent. (Since Republican Vice Presidential nominee Governor Sarah Palin (Alaska) did not serve in Congress, she has no comparable record.) In 2007, all of the Senators were traveling on the campaign trail and had lower scores than in past years due to absences. Senator McCain, however, had the lowest score on children’s issues in the entire Senate—with only 10 percent.”

How can someone who is pro-life/pro-birth consistently vote for war mongering candidates v. ones that promote diplomacy and soft power?

When you only care about fetuses, it becomes very obvious that your goal is controlling women not protecting and nurturing life.

Amen, sister Zak. The misogynist agenda was the successful platform of the KKK and now has passed the torch to evangelicals as the standard bearers.

Women have dominion over their own bodies. It’s the law.

  6. Incognito Says:

how sadly duped and deluded you are…

Byrd, Democrat.. One time KKK member endorses Obama http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/05/sen-robert-byrd.html

KKK and white supremacists endorse Barack Obama

something to be proud of NOT.

  7. zak Says:

McCain being endorsed by Dick Cheney is not a sign of good things to come.

THat Obama transcends race and gets support from racist groups is a sign of turning the page and moving forward.
