If you enjoy great romance, there's a sweeping trilogy by Paullina Simons about Tatiana and Alexander who meet during WWI in Communist Russia. The characters are incredibly compelling. Since the books have been out several years, the used copies are very cheap if you can't find them at the library. The Bronze Horseman, Tatiana & Alexander, and The Summer Garden.

Lee Child is also great; I've read all of his Jack Reacher books.

There are at least 10 books I started this year that I couldn't get into and just couldn't finish. And I wasn't going to finish the book just so I could put it on the list.

I should start a list of books that aren't very interesting.

What are some of your favorite books? Perhaps I can recommend a few.

I WISH I would read that many books in a year because I LOVE the activity, but I have a really hard time finding books that don't bore me to tears
